Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what we need to ship your order and answer your questions, we use advertising cookies to measure our ads, we don’t sell your information, and your card number never touches our servers.
1. What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and what you bought.
When you submit a form — quote request, wholesale application, installation enquiry, or callback: the contact details and project information you type in, which may include your address, square footage, timeframe, and any notes.
When you browse: pages you visit, the site that referred you, your IP address, and your device and browser type. If you use the cart, we also record which products you viewed, added, and purchased, and their prices. Your cart itself is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us until you check out.
2. Cookies and advertising
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising) to measure whether our ads work and to show ads to people who have visited this site. It sets cookies in your browser and reports your activity here — pages viewed, items added to the cart, and completed orders, including their value — back to Meta.
When you place an order or submit a form, we also send Meta a record of that conversion from our own server. Your email address, phone number, name, and city, state and ZIP are cryptographically hashed before they are sent, so Meta receives a scrambled fingerprint rather than the values themselves. Your IP address and browser type are sent as-is, which Meta requires.
Our hosting provider also records aggregate page-view counts. That measurement uses no cookies and is not tied to you individually.
You can turn off advertising cookies at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Turning them off stops this browser from being tracked for advertising; it does not affect your ability to browse, order, or contact us.
3. Payments
Card payments are processed by Square. Your card number, expiry, and security code are entered directly into Square’s own secure fields and are sent straight to Square — they never pass through or get stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits, and the card brand.
Square receives your name, email, phone, shipping address, and order contents in order to process the payment and record the sale. Square’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.
4. How we use your information
To fulfil and ship orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, respond to your questions and quote requests, operate our wholesale program, and measure and improve our advertising.
We send transactional email only. Ordering or submitting a form does not add you to a marketing list. If we ever introduce marketing email, it will be because you asked for it, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe.
5. Who we share it with
Only the providers needed to run the business, and only what each one needs:
- Square — payment processing and order records.
- Meta — advertising measurement and audiences, as described above.
- Resend — delivering order and enquiry notification email.
- HubSpot (via our automation provider, n8n) — storing quote and wholesale enquiries so we can follow up.
- Intuit QuickBooks — accounting records for completed sales.
- Vercel — website hosting and aggregate analytics.
- UPS and our shipping partners — delivering your order.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do share advertising identifiers with Meta as described in section 2, which some state privacy laws classify as “sharing for targeted advertising”. The Cookie settings link in the footer is how you opt out of that.
6. Retention & your choices
We keep order records as long as required for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes. Enquiries are kept while they are active and for a reasonable follow-up period.
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — subject to records we are legally required to keep — by emailing sales@epoxyresinsource.com or calling (737) 377-2519. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Children
This site is intended for adults purchasing building materials. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
